
DRC Temporary Employee Work Requirements
Definitions
- Location: A physical place. Your United States-based home address that is on file in our HR System.
- Workspace: A predefined space at your location that you designate for your work activities. A home office, spare bedroom, or kitchen table may be good choices.
It is a requirement that you have a workspace in a private environment away from others and free of distractions. Going to your workspace will be similar to going to the office and you will find it much easier to focus. Let others at your location know that when you are in your workspace you are at work and should not be disturbed.
Expectations
You are expected to be:
- in your workspace except during scheduled breaks
- logged into your assigned applications/websites
- focused on your work
- responsive to messages from your supervisor
Requirements
You must:
- use one email address for all interactions with DRC and DRC Systems
- be in your workspace at your location for the duration of your shift
- have a high speed (5mb or higher) stable internet connection such as
- Cable
- Fiber
- DSL
- use DRC-approved hardware and software
- no mobile devices including but not limited to
- iPhones
- Android devices
- Tablets
- current patched operating system
- DRC-approved browser
- no mobile devices including but not limited to
- not use VPN, TOR, Virtual Desktops, Proxies, etc.
Instructions to complete:
- must use the DRC Island browser
- must use the device (laptop or desktop) that you will be working on (NO MOBILE DEVICES)
- must be completed from the United States-based home address on file in our HR system
